David Foster and Skylark
Event coverage for the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, capturing the overlapping StarWalk ceremonies honouring David Foster and Skylark, Foster's first band before becoming an internationally acclaimed producer and composer. Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim also showed up to issue a proclamation for Skylark Day.
TEAM Vancouver
Commissioned coverage of the Vancouver political party TEAM during the municipal election cycle, documenting the party’s AGM, internal strategy sessions, and the mayoral nomination of Vancouver city councillor Colleen Hardwick.
Nickelback
Nickelback’s induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame unfolded fast and loud on Vancouver’s StarWalk, where fans packed the sidewalk, jostling for space as the band was honoured and quickly shuttled away.
Terrace SAR
A long-line training exercise with Terrace Search and Rescue, the most advanced rescue organization north of the Lower Mainland, to promote the team’s skills and vital role in regional emergency response. The images supported a major fundraising campaign for a new multi-million dollar emergency response centre, as the team worked to expand its capacity across B.C. and Alberta.
The Penthouse
A ceremony honouring Danny Filippone marked the Penthouse Nightclub’s induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame. Opened in 1947 by the senior Filippone brothers, the club began as an after-hours bottle club and grew into a glamorous venue that hosted stars like Sammy Davis Jr., Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra. By the 1970s, it was known for exotic dancing and frequent police raids. Surviving scandal, fire, and the 1983 murder of Joe Filippone, the family-run club remains a Vancouver landmark. The event also celebrated the book launch of "A Sign of the Times: The Best of The Penthouse Marquee".

FCancer Part 1: Commercial
Set stills and documentary photography from the production of a commercial promoting Vancouver rock concerts fundraisers. The spot features an aging rocker restoring discarded instruments as a visual metaphor for resilience and renewal.
Following a terminal cancer diagnosis, former Prism drummer Rocket Norton organized the F**k Cancer benefit concerts in 2022 and 2023. The star-studded shows united many of Canada’s best-known classic rock musicians and raised nearly $1 million for local cancer causes. I was commissioned as the official photographer, documenting the project from inception to closing curtain.
