FCancer Part 1: Commercial

Set stills and documentary photography from the production of a commercial promoting Vancouver rock concerts fundraisers. The spot features an aging rocker restoring discarded instruments as a visual metaphor for resilience and renewal.

Following a terminal cancer diagnosis, former Prism drummer Rocket Norton organized the F**k Cancer benefit concerts in 2022 and 2023. The star-studded shows united many of Canada’s best-known classic rock musicians and raised nearly $1 million for local cancer causes. I was commissioned as the official photographer, documenting the project from inception to closing curtain.
